No dogs, cats or other pets may be kept or replaced without the express prior written permission of the Trustees. If permission is granted, the unit owner and pet owner may be required to sign a contract with the Body Corporate and additional conditions may be prescribed. No dangerous or vicious dogs will be allowed. A maximum weight of 50 pounds / 22.68 kilograms per unit or section may be accepted upon approval.
Permission is not transferable to another pet. If the registered pet dies or is removed, the animal may not be replaced without new permission.
Cats and dogs must be neutered or spayed, treated for fleas, and have received all customary vaccinations. Owners must provide supporting documents to the Trustees upon request.
Cat litter must be cleaned regularly, kept inside the section and not be visible from outside. Kennels or other pet accommodation may not be installed outside the section or be visible from common property or adjoining units.
Any mess on common property must be cleaned by the pet owner immediately. Pets must be on a leash or crated whenever they are on common property and may not roam freely.
The owner is liable for any breach of the rules, damage, injury or nuisance caused by their animals or the animals of their tenants, visitors or invitees.
Owners must exercise adequate control over their animals and ensure that they do not disturb or inconvenience other residents. If an animal becomes a nuisance, the Trustees reserve the right to revoke permission.
If permission is revoked, the owner and resident agree that the animal will be removed from the property within 14 days.
